The Freedom Festival was an inspiring day of creativity, connection and community! Those gathered at The Art House celebrated peace, unity, and freedom through music, art, creative events, food, and shared stories.

The festival was the culmination of work with The Art House community and local people, exploring what freedom meant to them, through conversations, creative workshops, and shared experiences. These personal reflections shaped the heart of the Freedom Festival.

Local groups Callaloo Carnival, Ali Bullivent, Vinyl Social performed live music, and throughout the summer, community participant Minoo who collected personal food stories from across the globe which were then illustrated by local artists Sophie Amelia, Bryony Finnegan, Ellie Way, Seanna Doonan, Freya Stockford, Dave Royston, Lucy Hook and Becky Mann.
