As part of the Our Freedom: Then and Now project, Derbyshire based artist Heidi Luker has been working with the community in Bolsover to record their conversations sharing their memories and stories of World War Two and ideas of freedom and how society has changed since then, especially for women.

Derbyshire Libraries would like to invite you to this free event at Bolsover Library where you can hear the completed ‘soundscape’ of these recordings for the first time.

The recording will be running throughout the event and you can drop in at any time to listen and stay for as long as you like.

Free refreshments will be provided. Derbyshire Libraries look forward to welcoming you to this celebratory event.
