To try and capture the essence of the Our Freedom: Then and Now project that Stockport Libraries is delighted to be a part of, artist Audrey Albert will be visiting Bredbury Library on Saturday 18 October (11.30am – 1.30pm) and Wednesday 29 October (12.30pm – 2.30pm) to help participants create sun prints. Also known as cyanotypes, this is a form of form of photography where objects are placed directly onto light-sensitive surfaces and exposed to sunlight. This process captures delicate silhouettes of plants and flowers, turning nature into art.
You will also be welcome to add your thoughts on freedom to the collection of stories being gathered.
These fully accessible events are open to all – drop in and join in (brews and biscuits provided!).
