Presented by Strand Arts Centre, this talk reflects on the role of East Belfast and North Down during World War Two, and examines the impact of the war on the area from both a physical and social perspective.

The richly illustrated talk will incorporate archival footage, photographs and oral history.

This special event also includes a screening of a new short film commissioned as part of the Our Freedom: Then and Now project.
