Lighthouse is working with communities locally to reflect on what freedom means to them – in the context of the end of World War II and how it feels now.

They are delighted to be working with local performance poet, Dr Aanka Batta, on this free creative writing workshop for LGBTQ-identifying people. Aanka and Carmillia Williamson will host a safe and nourishing creative space, guiding writers to create poems and stories inspired by the theme of personal freedom.
