Lighthouse is working with communities locally to reflect on what freedom means to them – in the context of the end of World War II and how it feels now.

They are delighted to be working with local performance poet Dr Aanka Batta on two free standalone creative writing workshops. Aanka will guide writers to create their own poems, inspired by the theme of freedom.

Taking place on Wednesday 22 and Wednesday 29 October at Bournemouth Library, there’s no need to book, just turn up!
