Would you like to take part in a project reflecting on what freedom means 80 years after the end of the Second World War? Bolsover Library is working with local artist Heidi Luker to create a soundscape of recorded conversations sharing your memories of World War Two, your ideas of freedom, and how society has changed since then – especially for women. They would love to hear your memories and stories. Maybe you also have recollections of your grandmothers, mothers, aunties you’d like to share?
