Nuneaton, a market town in north Warwickshire, is known as the birthplace of the ground-breaking and iconic novelist George Eliot. The communities across this diverse town are numerous, and there are many assumptions and stereotypes that residents often face. Warwickshire Libraries are therefore delighted to be working with St Paul’s Church of England Primary School to engage the next generation with the legacy of WWII and to explore conceptualisations of freedom in their ever-changing world.
During this event, children will showcase their artwork to the whole school, their parents and families, and perform an assembly of their research, learning and thoughts. The work will stay on display for the school community to view and will help inform the rest of the term’s projects on WWII.
