Chapter Arts Centre has commissioned three deaf artists based in Wales – Maggie Hampton, Emily Rose Corby and Alex Miller – to create new work in response to the theme. Using Wales’ history and unique cultural identity, the artists will explore what freedom means through the lens of deaf creativity and lived experience in Wales and beyond.

Maggie Hampton has devised some new poems that are inspired by the theme of this project and will perform them for the first time at this festival. Join Chapter and help to celebrate Maggie’s achievement!
