Remembering the role of East Belfast in WW2, and also examining the impact of the war on the area from both a physical and social perspective, this richly illustrated talk – delivered by the Strand Arts Centre’s Heritage Officer, Dr Rosie Hickey – will incorporate maps, photographs and oral history. The event will conclude with the screening of a new, reflective short film.
