Queen’s Hall Arts have created a project which puts community voices at the heart, working with veterans, cadets, and active service members from RAF Spadeadam to explore what freedom means to them.
They invite you to be part of an exciting launch event celebrating Queen’s Hall Arts’ Our Freedom: Then and Now project with a brand-new live Augmented Reality (AR) experience, led by local artist Emma Tominey.
This interactive AR experience is the culmination of community workshops, research into the history of RAF Spadeadam and a reflection on what freedom means then, now and in the future. The event will include a Q&A with the project team.
Book a free ticket to discover how arts centres are embracing future technologies and co-creating with communities. Bring your smartphone to explore the work and add your own responses in real time. Help will be available on the day for using the app, as well ticket holders being sent a download link in advance.
