Presented by Kirkgate Arts and Heritage, the Our Freedom: Then and Now Cockermouth Musical will be performed at the Christmas Lights Switch on, onstage at Main Street at 1.30pm.

The musical has been created by musician JP Worsfold and storyteller Jessie McMeekin, drawing on stories from Cockermouth at the end of the Second World War and input from people in the local area today. It will be performed by a choir of local people who’ve come together especially for the project, and they’d love you to be there!
