Roll up, roll up! As part of the national programme Our Freedom: Then and Now, Arts Centre Washington proudly presents Unbound: Our Freedom Cabaret, a cabaret spectacular where curiosity takes centre stage, ideas spark, creativity bursts into life, and the very idea of freedom is thrown into the spotlight.
Four extraordinary creative hubs from the Arts Centre’s community programmes – Washington Youth Theatre, Right Track Music Project, Washington Young Film Makers, and The Crocodile Collective Community Podcasting Group – have joined forces to ask: What does freedom mean? Where do we find it? What happens when it’s taken away?
Expect a playful, thought-provoking mix of drama, live music, film, and conversation. Prepare for surprises, laughter, and moments that will make you stop and think. And because no cabaret is complete without a little mischief, you can also expect games, audience interaction, and the unexpected at every turn.
Unbound isn’t just a show; it’s an invitation, to listen, to question, to celebrate, and to join the conversation about what freedom means today. Will you find your own answer by the end of the show?
Suitable for all ages.
