You are warmly invited to a special performance of Bracknell’s fairytale, especially written for the Our Freedom: Then and Now project, inspired by contributions from local people and Bracknell Forest’s iconic trees – symbols of shelter, strength and growth.

Performed by talented musicians and storytellers from the library team, this event will be a highlight of the grand finale of Bracknell’s Our Freedom: Then and Now project. Audience participation will be warmly encouraged, and will be followed by a drop-in printmaking craft activity and refreshments. No booking required.

As part of the celebrations, Reading Freedom Trees will be unveiled and displayed across all Bracknell Forest libraries – inspiring everyone to celebrate the joy of reading and the power of shared stories.
